  • 315th AW Reservists aid Army Exercise

    The 315th Airlift Wing from Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina, provided C-17 Globemaster III support to Wright Army Airfield for an Army Expeditionary Deployment Readiness Exercise May 14 at Fort Stewart, Georgia.
  • Yakima landing boosts Rainier Wing readiness

    For the first time, 446th Airlift Wing Reserve Citizen Airmen landed at the newly restored Selah airstrip at the Yakima Training Center and accomplished readiness training May 1. While engaged in an exercise at the training center, Army officials called upon two C-17 Globemaster III units to transport four UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters. The helicopters were needed as part of the Joint Warfighting Assessment 19, a joint multinational military exercise conducted at YTC April 8 to May 11.
  • 512th CRE helps kickoff Immediate Response 2019

    The 512th Contingency Response Element, an Air Force Reserve unit assigned to Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, arrived here to participate in Immediate Response 2019, a multinational exercise, co-led by the Croatian Armed Forces, Slovenian Armed Forces and U.S. Army Europe.

  • 315th AES participates in patient evacuation exercise

    Members of the 315th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron participated in a National Disaster Medical System exercise May 7, 2019 at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport, South Carolina. The exercise replicated a real life scenario in which critically injured patients were airlifted from Charleston, South Carolina to Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport after a national disaster. Over 200 participants took part in the large-scale exercise.

    The Air Force announced today it will make adjustments to the way the Air Force Form 709, Promotion Recommendation Form, will be filled out and used for Total Force officer promotion boards beginning in September 2019.
  • 931st ARW reactivates 905th ARS

    In an historic ceremony, the 931st Air Refueling Wing reactivated a squadron that lay dormant for almost ten years. The 931st Air Refueling Wing reactivated the 905th Air Refueling Squadron in an official ceremony at Hangar 1107 here, May 4, 2019. This is one of the first squadrons in the Air Force dedicated to the KC-46A Pegasus.
