4th Air Force leaders visit local JROTC

MARCH AIR RESERVE BASE, Calif. -- Col. Abel Barrientes, Fourth Air Force Vice-Commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Felix Fernandez, Fourth Air Force Superintendent of Personnel, visited with members of the Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps at Moreno Valley High School in Moreno Valley.

Colonel Barrientes and Chief Fernandez served as special guest speakers during the JROTC commander's call at the high school. They shared their personal Air Force stories with the cadets and spoke about their individual duties within the military.
The colonel and the chief encouraged the cadets to stay in school, to never give up, and to always pursue their goals.

Following their presentation, Colonel Barrientes and Chief Fernandez spent time answering questions from the cadets about the Air Force and life in the military.
