4th Air Force announces 2010 Safety Award Winners

MARCH AIR RESERVE BASE, Calif. --  The 4th Air Force safety office has announced the 4th Air Force winners for the 2010 Safety Awards. 

Winners at the numbered Air Force level who were nominated to compete at the Air Force Reserve Command level are as follows:

4th Air Force Safety Office of the Year -- 916th Air Refueling Wing, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C.

4th Air Force Safety Officer of the Year Award (Primary) -- Lt. Col. Rick Adams, 452nd Air Mobility Wing, March Air Reserve Base, Calif.

4th Air Force Ground Safety NCO of the Year Award (Primary) -- Senior Master Sgt. Michael "Mike" Eckert, Headquarters, 4th Air Force Command, March ARB, Calif.

4th Air Force Outstanding Ground Safety Civilian of the Year Award (Primary) -- Mr. David "Dave" Ponce, 446th Airlift Wing, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash.

4th Air Force Chief of Safety Outstanding Achievement Award for Flight Safety -- 446th Airlift Wing 

4th Air Force Chief of Safety Outstanding Achievement Award for Ground Safety -- 446th Airlift Wing

4th Air Force Chief of Safety Outstanding Achievement Award for Weapons Safety -- 452nd AMW

Flight Safety Plaque -- 446th Airlift Wing

4th Air Force Chief of Safety Aircrew of Distinction Award - REACH 6156 - 349th Air Mobility Wing, Travis AFB, Calif. 

4th Air Force Aero Club Safety Certificate -- 452nd Air Mobility Wing 

From the winners at the numbered Air Force level, the following individuals and units were selected as the top winners throughout Air Force Reserve Command and will be representing AFRC at the Air Force level in the safety award competition.
