JOIT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas -- Col. Alvin Bradford assumed command of the 433rd Medical Squadron during an assumption of command ceremony here Oct. 16, with Col. Michelle Van Sickle, 433rd Medical Group commander, officiating.
The mission of the 433rd MDS is to provide medical, logistics and administrative personnel and services to support the Air Force theater. Support includes flight medicine, nursing, mental health, dental, surgical, emergency medicine and critical care augmentation services.
Prior to his current assignment, Bradford served as the 507th Medical Squadron commander at the 507th Air Refueling Wing, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma.
