RODE program prepares junior officers for leadership

HICKAM AIR FORCE BASE, Hawaii -- Brig. Gen. Muriel McCarthy, mobilization assistant to the Air Force Reserve Command commander, spends time mentoring Capt. Jolie Gibbs and 2nd Lt. Kenny Ruggles April 18 during the Reserve Officer Developmental Education (RODE) course at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii.
