44th APS holds mass enlistment ceremony

ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam --  The 44th Aerial Port Squadron here welcomed new recruits to the U.S. Air Force Reserve at a mass ceremony held at Statue of Liberty park, Hagåtña, Guam, Oct. 9. Honored guests included Guam's Governor Felix Camacho and Senator James Espaldon who presented a speech at the ceremony to the enlistees and their families.

Sworn in by Capt. Patrick Lujan, officer in charge, Air Freight, 44th APS, the enlistees Rebecca Huffer, Noli Pegarido, Angel-Markay Mafnas, William Balansay and Angela Sablan will join the ranks here with 44th APS personnel after basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. 

The 44th APS is part of the 624th Regional Support Group headquartered at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii.
