California Wildfires
TSgt Sergio Melendez, a loadmaster from the 729th AS at March Air Reserve Base, Calif., signals to drivers to ready their vehicals as they prepare to load a C-17A Globemaster Sunday October 28th, 2007. The C17 crew is redeploying the 375th to Scott AFB, IL. The 375th AES was assigned to the Mobile Aeromedical Staging Facility at March Air Reserve Base, Calif., in support of medical relief efforts for the California wildfires. The 375th along with other aeromedical components from Pope AFB, N.C., and Travis AFB, Calif., were on standby to air-evacuate fire victims out of the local area.
