Lt. Col. Steven Shinkel, 734th Air Mobility Squadron commander, briefs Col. Robert “Randy” Huston, 624th Regional Support Group commander, on the aerial port mission April 21 at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. Reservists with the 44th Aerial Port Squadron, which falls under the 624th RSG, work alongside active duty Airmen from the 734th AMS to accomplish the Air Force mission. This was Colonel Huston’s first visit to the base since assuming command in January. The 624th RSG has units in Guam and Hawaii and is the largest Air Force Reserve presence in the Pacific.
