Largest Reserve group in Pacific hails new commander
Maj. Gen. Robert Duignan, 4th Air Force commander, makes comments just prior to transferring the 624th RSG guidon to Col. Robert Huston. General Duignan was the guest speaker at the assumption of command ceremony Jan. 10 at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii. Colonel Huston's responsibility as commander of the 624th RSG is managing the largest Air Force Reserve presence in the Pacific, which is comprised of five units in Hawaii and Guam. The group provides the combatant commander more than 650 combat-ready Airmen who specialize in aerial port, aeromedical staging and civil engineering operations for worldwide employment.
