Largest Reserve group in the Pacific hails new commander

Lt. Gen. Loyd "Chip" Utterback, 13th Air Force commander, and Col. Robert Huston, 624th Regional Support Group commander, greet guests after the assumption of command ceremony Jan. 10 at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii. Prior to assuming command of the 624th RSG, Colonel Huston worked as the Reserve advisor to General Utterback. Colonel Huston's responsibility as commander of the 624th RSG is managing the largest Air Force Reserve presence in the Pacific, which is comprised of five units in Hawaii and Guam. The group provides the combatant commander more than 650 combat-ready Airmen who specialize in aerial port, aeromedical staging and civil engineering operations for worldwide employment.
