459th ARW KC-135 trains with A-10s over Pacific Ocean
A KC-135 Stratotanker from the 459th Air Refueling Wing’s 756th Air Refueling Squadron trains with two 74th Fighter Squadron A-10C Thunderbolt II aircraft in air refueling missions over the Pacific Ocean on Oct. 23, 2022. The training mission took them over Wake Island pictured beneath the aircraft. Training missions with the Air Force inventory keep the flying skills and boom operations capabilities of the KC-135 air crews sharp. The training also provided all flyers the opportunity to participate in a Dynamic Force Employment exercise to maintain readiness in geographically separated and contested environments.
